A special LSP thank you to the parishioners of St. Patrick’s in Rockville and Msgr. Hart for including the Jeanne Jugan Residence in their Butterfly Cross Program. Similar to Angel Tree programs held at Christmas, except that parishioners take a paper butterfly from the cross and then purchase the item on its label. There is a lot that a large Home like ours can wish for but knowing that our Residents love Bingo, and the more often the better, we wished for BINGO prizes. Keeping our Bingo prize cart stocked and exciting is a challenge. But not anymore – at least for a while!  Through the Butterfly Cross Program, we have just received a large quantity of sodas, chips, candy, gum, body wash, lotion, change purses, jewelry and stationary, which Julie Rock delivered to our Home.

In addition to the Bingo Prizes, we also received generous donations that will allow the Little Sisters to buy several in-service nurses training DVD’s and some fun activity resources too!

Top: While Sr. Camille Rose and the Activity Team – Francine Whitley and Joyce Miles – joyfully receive the prizes, Leonard Donatelli wants to know if we are playing BINGO after lunch!

Middle: You could hear a pin drop during this CoverAll game as everyone intently studies their cards and hopes to hear their numbers called.
Left: It was so great to meet Julie Rock – a St. Patrick’s Parishioner – she reached out to see what the Little Sisters needed and then delivered the bounty.
