This spring we are holding Tea & Tulips as a "Fund Raising" non-event, rather than hosting the in-person "Friend Raising" event that we all so enjoy. This will help to keep people safe during the pandemic, while at the same time continuing to help the Little Sisters care for and protect their dear ones by providing funds to support their mission.
The Little Sisters are so very grateful to God that their congregation has had the joy to be at service to this city's elderly poor men and women - since 1871 - for 150 years! Simply put, they can’t do it without you. In fact, your assistance at this time is more important than ever because with the closing of the Churches, the Sisters' weekly begging at parishes has paused for nearly an entire year.
Please won’t you consider making a donation? Every donation counts. All funds raised are going to support the daily needs of the Residents including safe shelter, a loving home, healthy meals, and medical and nursing care. Your help keeps the D.C. Home open for some of the most vulnerable in our society, the elderly poor.
As always, we appreciate your generosity and support of the Little Sisters of the Poor and their mission. Thank you!
