See a glimpse of life at our home

Residents enjoy an impromptu game of Pokeeno, a favorite in the Jeanne Jugan Residence

There are many daily tasks to occupy the Little Sisters’ day, but their favorite activity is spending time with the Residents

Terry lives in St. Joseph Villa. She and her son Fritz traveled to Rome in October 2009 to witness the canonization of St. Jeanne Jugan, Mother Foundress of the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Our chapel is the spiritual center of the Home. Mass is celebrated daily for anyone who wishes to attend and many Residents spend time here each day in quiet prayer and meditation.

Residents enjoy a visit to a local restaurant. This is just one example of the kinds of fun activities that are planned each week.

Volunteer hairdressers and manicurists are generous with their time and help to keep our Residents looking and feeling their best.

Mary is our resident gardener. She enjoys taking care of the plants in the home. Mary was also one of the Residents who attended the canonization in Rome in October 2009.

Eva displays her “Christmas ornament earrings” in a lighthearted moment at our tree trimming party in December

Giovanna, one of our Residents who is originally from Italy, had an opportunity to try her hand at making homemade pasta. We have a weekly cooking group where Residents get to try new recipes.
